ATS trans pan

I bought ATS trans pan and it came with spacer. Does it go on filter to lower it down more?

I just installed an AFE deep pan yesterday. Yes you need the spacer and follow the directions, as my spacer required an o-ring to mount up to the valve body. So far I don't have any leaks yet.

Remember to buy an extra 4-5 quarts of fluid. You running ATF or ATF+?
