ATS special wastegated manifold
i have a serious question!!!! i just bought the special wastegated manifold from ATS that wastegates all six cylinders. i am wanting to go to twins on my truck. when i flip it over it hangs down real bad!!! can i just cut it off and weld it back to the top so i can wastegate the big charger too???? any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

You can't wastegate the big charger from that far away. It would have to have it's own gate on it...besides I don't think any of the kits have a wastegated big charger.

Piers and others rework the wastegate on the 40 to wastegate all 6 cylinders, this eliminates the need for the external wastegate. The material the manifold is made from does not like welding real well. Brazing is a better choice and if you are going to do that why not do your own and save the extra money from the special manifold that you chopped up anyway.

cynthiana is in Ky by the way and thanks for the help. haven't chopped it up yet and won't but will just leave it alone and let it work. by the way to those with twins_____ do you have a support bracket to help support the weight of the big charger???? thanks again
