Angry ATS 3 Piece Manifold!!!

Anyone else have a fun time installing this **** thing??? All went well until I went to bolt up the coolant line. ATS forgot to mention that you have to bend the crap out of the bracket or just make my own spacers!!! Doesn't look as good as I thought it would. Should have went with the BD manifold!!!

I have the HTT, no bending required. I just had to clock the compressor housing of my turbo to gain clearance.

I got confused & thought you were talking about the oil return line, I see what you mean. I can't really tell by the picture, is it making contact with the manifold? I bet you get good heat in the cab. The HTT came with a bracket to mount the line, kinda like a extension bracket. I could get some pics if you'd like.

The way I did mine before the turbo messed it all up was with that bracket that comes with the ATS manifold, flip it 180 so the angle is up and to the right (looking at it the same was a your pic), lose the spacer. Then bend the bracket off the coolant line about 45 degrees from where it was originally, then bolt it to the ATS bracket. I think I was able to do it all with the hardware supplied.

Anyone got install pics??? Tate, I don't wanna do too much bending as it's welded to the line. With my luck, I'll crack the weld and have antifreeze sprating everywhere!!!

I ran into the same issues on my 24v, which is one reason Im considering going to an HTT for my 12v. I dont think I ever did get that bolted up in a way that I was happy with.

If my memory serves me correctly, the HTT manifolds are BD manifolds.

Hold the part that comes right off the tube, and bend the 90 degree part. Don't have to worry about busting the line. I had a pics in my gallery of it, but I must've deleted it, and most of my pics are on the other computer.
