arp studd/new gasket retorque

I did a search on arp studs and torquing them and got a lot of different info just not quite sure what to do. of couse i installed them as the instructions said. the instructions did not say to torque in incraments but i took them to 60# first, and then to 125 like they said. then cycled the studs loose then tight 3 more times to 125. it does not say to retorqe after a warm up. that seem like the thing to do. but everyone else doent seem to cycle them 3 more times on inital torque down. btw the new gasket i put on was a 20 over marine gasket, anything different for the torque on that gasket that i didnt know about. i drove it down the road for about fifteen minuites opend the hood and coolant was every where, thought it was the gasket but justa pinhole in the radiator.

In order to mill the pedestals you will need to take it to machine shop or have acces to a mill. I did a set for a friend and those things are murder on an endmill (cintered metal) Overall it is not hard to do you just need the right tools.

Fortunately for me there are 3 machinists on staff at work that all know what priority "Government" jobs take

You did it right just drive it for a few days easy on the go pedal and then recheck the studs when the engine is dead cold to 125.
