Question arb locker ? For the guys that already have one

I am wondering how the air solenoid works? Is it only to release air when you turn the switch off?

The reason I am asking is that as soon as mine has air it keeps on venting until you turn it off. I thought this would only vent air to unlock it when the switch is off?

Anyone know?

thanks

No the applied air pressure is what locks it.
Yes it will continue to vent a small amount of air until you unlock it.

from what I gathered you should turn it on and it locks then when you turn it off it will stop the pressure and dump only the air to the locker. Not drain all my air out of my tank.

Also if it would keep leaking then the compressor will always run..

Just does not sound right to me.....

No it shouldn't drain the tank, only what is in the line to the locker.
Did you check the flow direction on the solenoid? Check valve in backwards?

Can you leave the locker engaged for 15min without the compressor turning on? If not, you have a leak and need to fix it.

update..

I have a new switch on the way. Arb said my new switch was faulty and going to send me a new one.

Yes I can lock my locker and it is fine. It is only when I turn my switch off I lose all my air.
