Question Anyone tow with stacks?

I'm on the fence about gettin stacks. I love them and I want them pretty bad, but I'm wanting to know if anyone tows with them? If you're pullin a 5er or a car hauler are you going to end up with a black trailer? I guess if you start with a black one it really doesn't matter.......

Yes, my trailer is white, but its a tag not a gooseneck, so its a little further back there. I don't have black soot covering the corner, like you see on some rigs, but I do have black spots from it. They dont come off very easy either. I think I got them when I really let the coal roll one time burrying the pedal with RPMs pretty low. Since then the spots havent gotten any worse so I think its just a matter of being a little more cautious and rolling into the go pedal easier.

I tow a gooseneck horse trailer with mine and no real problems. The only drawback is with rain or heavy dew. Makes nice little black spots on the truck. I changed mine to 5" straights with rattle caps and no more problems. I would like to get hold of a set of bull horns if anyone knows where I can find them reasonable.

Check my album, I pull antique tractors. They get a little spotty every now and then but that's a small price to pay.

I tow a white boat, and after this weekend I did not find any soot on the boat. Granted I have towed a total of one time with the new stacks, I still don't really see a problem because unless I drive like a madman, I don't really get all that much thick smoke while towing.

stacks

Ive also been on the fence because of the smoke and noise issue. Me and my father pull a 36' 5er with factory exaust and it tends to leave the lower right side a little darker than the rest of the camper.

Soot isnt too hard to get off. I use a degreaser to get it off of Semis. Spray it on scrub a bit and off it comes. If you want bullhauler stacks will put the smoke a bit farther way than just turn outs.
