Is anyone running a fuel additive?

I run Stanadyne in both trucks. When the fuel switch to ULSD came out I lost 1.5 mpg. Running Stanadyne gives me my 1.5 mpg back, runs quieter, and obviously the lubricant benefits.
The drivability is very noticable when I forget to take a bottle to the fuel station and full up with straight ULSD crap.

Anyone ever think that youre not getting better MPG because of the product but because there is now sheerly more liquid to burn in the first place?
Food for thought for those that pour bottles down their tanks.

If the price of diesel at the pump goes much higher, it'll be cheaper to run the truck on diesel fuel additive.

Assuming I fill my tank from empty (34 Gallons) I would add 34 ounces of oil. I gallon is equal to 128 ounces. (32 ounces per quart, 4 quarts per gallon 4*32=128)
Now I get 18 MPG. Using math that can be broken down to 4.5 MPQ (miles per quart) and .14 MPO (miles per ounce).
Using the math, me adding 34 ounces of oil to my tank would equate to an extra 4.76 miles driven on a full tank of fuel (34 gallons) and a full 34 ounces of oil. At 18 mpg the 34 gallons of fuel will give 612 miles. Factor in the additional 34 ounces of and that is 616.76 (612+4.76). Divide by 34 gives me 18.14 versus. So no, I never thought it was simply the volume, because that would be silly.

Close. It is 20% waste oil, not fuel additive. However, they do not specify which engines this applies to.

I tried put'n 2 stroke in because some said it raises the cetane and they got better mpg with it, well for me my mileage actually went down (1 qt per tank), so I just keep using straight #2.
