Anyone running 315's
This 4.10 is killing my mpg!! I do long distance highway driving with no load through the plains states where the speed limits are 75mph. I usually set the cruise at 80 mph but it's running at 2500 rpm which = 14mpg. I know I can just slow down but Nebraska's 500 miles long and not much to see.
Will 315's (bfg AT's) fit on a 2003 ctd 2500 4x4 quad cab long bed without rubbing??
That should lower the rpm's a little and get me a few more mpg.
Thanks for the help.

Re:Anyone running 315's
I don't have 4:10 gears, but I noticed a 200+ RPM drop when I put on the 315/70 tires. My RPM's at 70 mph are 1800 & 2000 at 80 mph. The tires really fill up the wheel wells & unless I'm turning REALLY sharp, they don't rub at all.

Re:Anyone running 315's
I have the 315's and they are great...I am running about 2100 RPM at 75...real sweet. They rub a little at full lock but other than that minor thing they are great..and soffen up the ride a little too.

BamBam and 03dodgeram, do you have pics of your trucks available? I'm wanting to see a gen. 3 with 315's before I buy.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re:Anyone running 315's
Click the link below for pics of my shortbed with 315's. I had no rub at stock height. I now have 2" spacers up front. Sorry, I do not know how to post pics. Best price I found was Tirerack.com @ $119 each plus about $50 shipping. I had Americas Tire install and balance for $12 each. (I called 4 different Americas Tire shops and got a different price from each one, so shop around). Mike
