i'm considering upgrade injectors, but dont want to go too big. i'm happy with the performance for the most part as i am now, but would like a little more on occasion. anyone who has this combo, would you do it different if you could? like going bigger or regret the purchase?

My buddy has a 98.5 auto w/ EZ and RV injectors.
It runs pretty good. But he had DD Stage 3 100 hp injectors in for a while. And the truck was a lot quicker! Like I could tell the difference just riding in the truck, big time.
He went down because he though he might fry his tranny.
Well now he is ****** at himself and he wants EDM Mach 2s(100 hp). He really misses the extra power.
I would go Mach 2s if I were you.

I've got 27's and a comp ...........the 275's are a nice boost over stock with the box off ..............but I shouda went bigger ............can always use more power eh
altough the thing I like about the big box small injector setup as opposed to the small box big injector setup is that I can turn it off when I want .......I never run the box all winter .........just too dangerous on those icey roads IMO, spins out too easy in 5th

I'll let you know when I get my EDMs. I've got a set of Dons EDMs Mach 1.5s on order. The thing I was concerned about was with towing. I didn't want to have to upgrade the turbo yet.
I see you have a 5th wheel also so be sure the turbo you have can handle the heat. Unless you have a big budget and can upgrade the turbo.

That was the first setup I had. You will have tranny issues towing. You might be ok empty for a while, but even empty you are bound to slip the stock auto before long. A good tranny upgrade will feel like more power than the 275s anyway. Tim

Now there will be many that will say go bigger. If you are using this as a tow rig and not into racing, I'd go 275's and upgrade the valve body. If you stay out of full power below 1600 rpm or so in lock-up you'll be surprised how long the stock TC will live with just a good valve body.
IMO, the EZ really helps these motors down low to about 2k rpm then it kind of fades off. The 275's are starting to stretch their legs when the EZ is fading. It really is a nice combo as long as you are not looking to go racing. I see anywhere between 260 and 285 RWHP with 275's and EZ.
Good Luck,

I have the same combo and I am going to upgrade to EDM’s. It seems to work pretty well but if you can do it I would get EDM's. My tans lasted about 15k miles with only occasional light towing.
