Back to belt-and-pulley transmissions, eh? They've been around since the 1880s. Torque's always the problem. Steel belt or chain that'll handle 700 lbs. of torque will weigh more alone than an NV5600 transmission. <br><br>Maybe the breakthrough is in materials science. They've made the unit out of neutronium, or flexible monofilament diamond. <br><br>GP
