So do you plan on going with a straight bar, or one that is bent? What is the advantages and disadvantages of both? I think a Straight bar would be easier to make obviously, but I dont know about fitment or additional brackets needed. Thanks.

I think this would be pretty neat but I don't have much to say, here are some pictures of some though.

"Normally you should expect about a similar amount of miles as your factory unit with the same driving habits & lift/tire combination."

Well here is the DT straight bar;

03 Track Bar;

How DSS did theirs;

The problem with the solid steel set up is even with the 03 track bar, it still has the soft rubber factoy bushings. It's still gonna move. For significantly less than the SS/03 set up, you can get a DT or Thuren track bar that's guaranteed not to move for a long time, and if it does, you can rebuild it.

DT is also gonna be re-designing their track bar with some bend in it....

Yea, here is the Thuren.

It uses the same ends as DRM mentioned using originally.

Wandering back in from the wilderness to say: nothing.

The truck has seen VERY little drive time the last 2 years or so, and as a result it just hasn't been a pressing issue. However - as soon as this replacement bar goes south, I'll for sure be building my own custom one as I described above.
