Anybody w/ a #4 & 160 pump?
My sig below is my current setup. I am very curious as to the effects of exchanging my #10 for a #4. The truck is a pretty good performer with the current setup, but I've got the BOMBing bug in a real bad way. My biggest concern is the effects on the transmission. If I'm pushing too much fuel, I can get a bigger turbo. I do not want to blow the trans up. Did that once on the stocker, no way I can afford that again.

My plate is within 1/8" of full forward. It's good, I just want more. I think I'll try to make a #100 from my stock plate and see how that goes. I've got to get a new turbo soon!!!!!!!!!

I'm running a #5 plate. When I talked with John at Floor It Diesel about switching to a #4 he said that I may not want to do that. I think EGT's were the biggest reason, I imagine the tranny would hold up, DTT . I just wouldn't ever be able to benefit from it. If your switching to a bigger plate, you may want to consider a turbo upgrade?
