Sounds like for $120 it's probably worth a try then

I have one on my 97. It made a lot of difference on mine. But as said earlier it will not fix things if parts are worn. I put mine on at 60,000 miles. All my steering parts were good but I still had some wandering going down the road. The truck needed constant corrections of the steering to keep it going down the road to the point where you needed to constantly pay attention. After installing the Solid Steel Industries steering box support I could actually let my mind wonder while driving. It made a big difference on my truck.

There's a clue. My son's 98 was getting a little mushy from going down the switchbacks crossways. (more than once) We pulled the sector and welded up the cracks under it, both sides of the frame. Then put one of these sector stabilizers on it. Helped a bunch.

The rest of his front end was 100%
