I'm pretty sure that everyone getting those higher mpgs are doing it in a 3/4 ton truck. I don't know of many 1 tons that produce better than average mpgs. Those two extra tires touching the ground sure make a difference dont they

That's about 1 or 2 better than without. Towing 13000 on level 2, I get about 10. I tried running it on level 3 and the milage got worse. If you go into the menu and select configuration then low end responsiveness you will be able to select when the juice tells the VP44 to add full fuel. It is for each level.

There are two settings under the Low Boost Fueling. Do you set them on the same thing and then change the 1 thru 5 setting on the main screen?

For example, I have mine on 2 and 2 under the Low Boost setting and then 5 on the main screen.

I'm looking for the best mileage for towing and I dont have a heavy foot.

Appearently I have an older model (ver 1.72) as mine doesn't have this option. I do have an option for "Low Boost Fueling Adj.". Is this the same thing or am I way off base?

My dually went from 16mpg to 18mpg and a buddy and me both had problems with the turbo timer but it turned out it was just the cheap connection they use. We both changed out the connection and havnt had a probem with it since.

Yeah i haven't had a problem with the turbo timer. I didn't use the junk fuse adder edge sent with mine. I went and bought a add a fuse and used it.

Update

I ran the Juice on 1x1 with maybe 5 days of pulling about 3k lbs. Mixed city/highway driving the whole tank. The result was 13.1 mpg!!! Not what I was hoping for. I got 13.5 consistently with Diablo Puck pulling 3-4K in city driving daily. I think once I get used to driving with the Juice my mileage will improve.

Ditch the 1x1, thats barely over stock, and you have the responsiveness set so low you might as well be stock! set it to level 2 as a minimum as that is what an EZ is (adjust the responsiveness at 4 to start) You have not tapped the pump so your only going to get 60hp over stock anyway, my EZ improved drivability and mileage a good bit. heck your Puck netted you way more power than using edge on 1x1.... I cant give actual numbers yet but I'm running consistantly on level 4 anything less seems slow, veh effort is vastly improved as it takes very little throttle pressure to get up to speed

I have been on 5x5 for this tank. Normally the LOW FUEL light would come on at around 300 miles. I am sitting just over 300 miles right now and still have between a 1/2 and a 1/4 tank left.

Nope. Haven't tapped the pump. I really would like to but can't afford a new pump right now. Don't feel like rolling the dice.
