Any issues running ATF as a Fuel additive
I have been running about 1/2 of a quart of ATF per fill up in my truck. I've heard it's ok but wanted to see if anyone has heard any different.
Thanks

Nope, not OK. ATF is formulated NOT TO BURN. Why would you put something is not designed to be a fuel in your vehicle? I'm sure your intentions are good, but there are many other better products designed to do what you are trying to do.
Ashless 2 stroke oil would be a better choice if you did not want to use diesel fuel specific additives.
Do a search on using ATF as an additive, lots of info. KD

Truckers excuse for having red tinted fuel.
Injection shops can tell by the ashj deposits if ATF or hydraulic oil was added to fuel.
A lot of poeple in northern climates burn waster oil for heat. They have to clean the burners frequently due to hydraulic oils.

I've used Power Service and 2-stroke outboard oil in my truck and IMO the truck idles smoother, quieter and just plainly runs better when using 2-stroke oil... I also get about 1mpg better Its not very expensive to buy either one but I choice to use 2-stroke. Also unless you put too much oil in the fuel it shouldn't be a really noticeable difference in soot color either, kind of like weed eaters; if you mix it right it doesn't smoke add a tid bit too much and a cloud follows you... lol.

power service (i think thats the name) from any auto store is proven to work, they have it in white and grey bottles, white is for colder temps and grey has a little more performance to it.
