any edge guys running with the map sensor permanently unplugged?

that's about it ...

i've had mine off for a day and love it ...

with the EZ i only roll smoke with heavy throttle at off idle ...

cleans up quick with the htbg ...

can power brake and put on a show for my 7 year olds buddies

just wanna know if anyone has had it off permanently ... if i don't have to worry about codes i'll just wrap the sensor and the plug in a little electric tape to keep 'em safe

thanks

Been running without it plugged in for almost a year and no problems yet.

Mines been unplugged for a long time like a yr prolly. No problems with it. Ive had a map sensor code the last 2-3 times ive had a scanner on it but its not setting the light or causing any probs. Man can i lay the smog tho with the 66. The only down side is slight decrease in milage, about 1-1.5 for me but i dont really care. I can run around flatfooting it and use an 1/8 tank of fuel up real quick.

As for the juice most people that tried it said the truck ran like crap when they did it.
