Another Vulcan Big Line question

My Big Line kit showed up today and it was a bit of a surprise. I ordered the 3/8" kit but I opened the box to find a 1/2" kit. I had ordered the 3/8" because it was all I thought I'd ever need and also because the tapped 90° fitting is advertised and being tapped for 1/8" NPT. I could use all of my existing fuel pressure gauge fittings and whatnot with the 1/8" NPT tapped fitting. The 1/2" tapped 90 appears to be tapped with some other thread. The FP port looks to be an inverted flare x -4 JIC fitting (with the inverted flare portion threaded into the 90). So, I may have to get a little creative but will probably have to pick up some different fittings to hook up my FP gauge.

On with the question..... the instruction sheet that comes with the kit says to put the tapped 90° fitting on the injection pump side of the line. Does it really matter if the tapped fitting is on the IP side or FF side? My gauge is currently hooked up to the FF side of the stock line via a tapped banjo bolt, so I would think that it wouldn't matter.

If you want the 3/8" call Eric, he will make it happen. He also has every fitting known to man!

The easiest thing is to give us a call. Sounds like the wrong kit was shipped out.

The flare adapter should be 12mm to -6 or -8 depending on the elbow.
