Don, I had no idea you made turbos. Is that why you get a little defensive when internet bench racers make turbo suggestions?

How do you feel about my setup? Jammer 5's, Adrenaline, and 3rd gen turbo...9cm? You know what, around town, set on kill, I can't get my egt's over 1300 before I'm exceeding the speed limit. This setup works awesome for the street!

So do you clip 5 more degrees off the turbine on the 64mm compressor setups to reduce surge? Does the decreased mass on the turbine side help spoolup?

In defense to where I read, lots of guys have stated that they lose the egt battle before it begins because 64+mm compressors spool so late. Although they flow more air, if they take longer to get into the game, they don't catch up the 62mm compressors till much higher RPM. This is my gleaned info from lots of reading.

If it is wrong, please explain why, I like to learn, that is why I'm on these time eating websites daily.

More sarcasm than defensiveness, I'm just that way. The only restriction on your setup is the small turbine wheel. Clipping the turbine wheel reduces drive pressure and the tendency to surge, but will slow spool time to a small degree. The problem with comparing turbos is no one consistantly uses the turbine size, this is far more important than the compressor size when speaking in terms of spoolup.

Broad in terms of HP demand, not rpm.

Thanks Don. It sounds like a 62/65mm is what I need. Is the difference going to be dramatic from the turbo I currently have?

Should work well, better with a small set of injectors 50-90hp depending on rack travel.

That's what I'm looking at as far as injectors go. I'm about to dive into doing the steering box, shocks, and installing a DSS but injectors and fuel lines are on their way but as soon as its back together I'm going to give the pump a once over as per the info I've found here and on PDR's site. Thanks to everyone for your help, I really appreciate it.

Yeah, I should have been more specific. I'm replacing the stock steel feed and return lines from the tank with marine fuel hose and replacing the stock pick up with a Draw Straw. When I dropped the tank to do that brake line last year, the return pipe developed a pin hole leak right where it goes into the tank. I cleaned it really well and JB Welded it but I know that its just a matter of time until it acts up and since I'll be messing with it to put the rubber hoses on, that just might cause it to act up again.
