Thumbs up Another track bar option

I just thought you guys would like to know that there is another track bar option available to us. It is a stock looking unit with the exception of the ball joint end, it has been replaced with a urethene bushing, both ends. It attaches to the frame side via a ball joint shaft and bracket. Very simple and clean install. The all new track bar is completelly solid and measures 1.5" in diameter verus the stocker of 1 3/8". I have pictures in my gallery if your interested.

Me too, me too! How do we get our hands on this. I've been looking at the unit with the adapter plate to run the 03+ track bar, but this eliminates the need to weld the plate to the frame.

Thumbs up Another track bar option

A friend of mine owns his own garage. He's been tring for over a year to redesign the oem track bar. After several designs he settled on this design because of it's simplisity and easy installtion. He has his brother doing all the bending and machining. The bar's bushings are replaceable if they ever fail. After a week of abusing the truck off road all is still tight. It takes a little gettin used to having steering again. It took me longer to re-center the steering wheel then to re and re the bar and bracket. all told it took approx. 30 minutes to do the install. Now to answer that burning question, how much? well it cost me $ 419.00 CDN. It's sold as a kit containing the bar, bracket, all nesessary hardware.

I guess that all depends on the exchange rate at the time of purchase. Don't forget the goverment always gets their share, then there's the shipping. This sucker weights a ton. Here'e a link to the web site. The bar is not listed on the site, but his phone number is, so just give him call. He'll be more then happy to answer all of your questions.
