I'd like to extend a big congrats to Trevor Wood out of New York. His 01 Auto recently pulled 622 HP uncorrected at Kaufman's event. His truck is currently running the quarter mile at 12.07 @ 111mph and he's pulling incredible 1.62 60ft times.

Trevor's running a Blue Chip redline box, EZ, Superchips tuner, Mach 6's, DTT auto, Morrison head, DD cam, stock VP44 and a KSB1-2/B2 combo. He's put ALOT of time, effort, and energy into that black monster, and its paid off.

Congratulations, Trevor. Next stop, 700HP and 11 seconds.

That puts you a just under DOUBLE the power of my truck, sheesh.

So, Rod-- where's your personal truck at! Is it even together??

My personal truck is currently at stock power. I ordered an 05 a couple months ago, and it should in soon, so I pulled everything off my truck. But lately, I've been seriously thinking about a 12 valve, so I may skip the 05, buy the 12 valve (if I can find a decent one) and buy an 06 or 07 when the 6.7L Cummins comes out.

How is he liking the redline box? Is he running his engine all the way up to 4000 rpm? He's got 3 different boxes on it? That's insane.

The 6.7 is largely unconfirmed, however I've got some sources at Edmunds and other like-companies who tell me the 6.7L is now on the Daimler order sheets.

He's really liking the redline box. I believe he's running it to about 3800RPMs with some valve train work that he's done to the truck. And, yup, 3 different boxes.

What kind of valvetrain work? Lightweight valves and springs? Titanium retainers? Different push rods? Differnt lifters? Rockers?

The truck will run to 4000. The power does begin to fall off after about 3500. It still makes nearly 500 HP at 4000 RPM!

The valvesprings, retainers and the crossheads have been changed to Titanium.

The REDLINE and EZ stack is the combo he used. The TST/EZ stack is used too.

Not all three boxes together. LOL . Its not a Duramax!

Your right Rod, he has worked hard!

You sure about that Don? I thought he fired the Superchips in there during the dyno run as well?

If it worked 100%, that means I would be done modifying. I'm never going to be done BOMBing my truck,, so to answer your question. No. (Unless I die,, then, yes. LOL)
