Another Injector Question
Will a bigger injector help reduce smoke and egts as you add more fuel? I know when I got my comp box I put in a set of 100 hp injectors and it seemed to help smoke and egts. Will a bigger injectors make the fuel burn more efficiently? Would like to be able to use all of that fuel that the smarty and comp are giving.

Generally, bigger injectors increase smoke. Depending on your fueling box (if it adds timing) and how quick the turbo spools, you may see less smoke with a mildy larger injector because it helps induce spooling quicker. With the bigger ones you will definitely see an increase in black smoke.

Since I added the bigger turbo, I don't really start spooling until about 1700. Sorry to sound stupid on this but I was just wondering if anyone found that bigger injectors with a good spray pattern will make a difference with spool and smoke. Not saying the Bosch injectors I have are bad but it seems there are a lot of injectors out there that would do a better job.
