Here's a couple of Sound clips with straight exhaust.

The 1st is 4" and the 2nd is with 5". Enjoy!

Man mine is only a 3" factory cut off before the muffler, with a ghetto conversion to 4" exiting behind the rear wheel and I get compliments all the time, can't wait til I get a REAL exhaust!

I don't see any reason in starting a new thread.

Just search "gsk", find more than you ever wanted to know.

Shoulda started a new thread since it's a different topic.

That said, I got my 3K GSK from City Diesel and it's a absolute MUST DO Mod!! You're truck will make tons of power over 2K RPMs!

Go with the 5". I just finished putting straight 5" from the down pipe back. It sounds great, loud and deep. Really easy install using 45,90 deg bends from the local truck supply. And the look of the pipe being the same size as the the tip just looks right.

What did you pay for your pipe ??

Where is the cheapest place to buy 5" pipe ??

All together it was about $200. Shop around the truck supply houses, I found that the prices where pretty varied. I took the advise of others on here that recommended using band clamps, they cost a little more but make the whole job easier. Servicing or changing around will be really easy with the band clamps because they don't crimp the pipe.
