Also, If you think you will ever get over 500 hp...the shafts are important for towing and nice to have with all that torque! I too, don't drag race much (due to stressful wear & tear) but sure is fun a few of times a yr!

There is a VERY nice 'Lil' HX-55 for sale in the classifieds...........................mine

Installed BD twins last weekend!!!...and I'm all

Good luck, RJ

Well you know that tight feel to the stock holset? Its about the opposite- feels very loose. Feels lazy building boost under small loads but still builds about as much boost as my hx35 did in daily driving. Now hot rodding around I can build 45 lbs of boost in 3rd on. I also hit full boost on my dyno run. Imho it spools fine and it will cool mach 4's.

Yup! Was going stelth on the twins till after our N. Texas Club Meet/Campout last weekend.

Word is out now...signature updated....Turbo, Scotty II and 4" downpipe listed in Classified.... pics in gallery!

My goal is (has really always been)....best street driving 500 hp CTD I can build: so I would say "improved drivability"! But if I pick up 30 more HP by converting smoke to power...I won't mind.

Very straight forward. BD's directions, with pics, are very good. Their parts list even had pictures of each part!

Just a couple of minor adjustments needed for my truck but really something anyone with enough time & tools could do!

From everything I've read about those and seen.........they seem to be a very good twin setup!! I don't think I've heard a single negative thing about them at all.

And really for the price of them, you can't really go wrong!! I heard that here sometime soon they may be coming out with a larger set of twins.......is that true?
