Re:Almost cracked 700 HP

With a larger set of twins, a cam, and some better atomizing injectors of the same size you might be surprised how close you are to 800hp withought adding fuel and losing drivability. At least a 40 on top is next for you then maybe something bigger on the bottom too. Just know that I'm working on it for you .

Horace

Re:Almost cracked 700 HP

The 40 on top and a cam are in work but it just depends on timing, I'm heading back up to Canada in Sept. so I need some cash for that....yes I'm driving the truck! Injectors would no doubt help as 370 aren't the best, there just cheap. I very seriously doubt I'll buy any, someone would have to furnish them to me. I have plenty of fuel, it's just rude rich but surprisingly low EGT's for the power output.

Jim

Jim,
Are you going to coat the pipe work when you redo your twins with a HX40 for your small turbo? I am going to be getting a set of twins from PIERS and I am trying to decide if I should go ahead and have everything coated.
Good job on the high HP run.

Todd

Jim, How much boost pressure were you running when you were near the 700hp mark?

Which set of turbo's? 35/HT3B were 65 on the street, 60 on the dyno. The new set is 75 on dyno 80 on the street, I've done 80 on the dyno and 100 on the street would be as easy as closing the pop off's.

Jimbo, Im sure you told me, but is the 75 PSI with the Methanol or just straight diesel?

Thanks Man,

I didn't notice a difference with the water on or off, all three runs were at 75 at least by the tale tale, when I did the 80 psi run here in OKC I had the pop offs capped but that was fuel only.

Yes the tired old motors cam is stock.........I think I'm at a wall

A stock one!

It's cut, then the pump tuned to it on the pump stand. No I don't have a picture but it's not a zero plate.

Hats off to you Jim! Thats close enough to 700HP in my book. The dyno could be off that much!
