Re:Almost cracked 700 HP
XLR8ER left over parts, let's see I have a #4 plate and a 16cm housing and will keep both of them for future use on something else. Pinwheels ect....do what! I have a 112K stock 35 with and 18.5 housing and a PDR HT3B/26, no pump parts either, Piers did all that stuff, all I had to do was tune it to my taste. I have the baby Stupid pump, small DV, no radical high RPM gov, just all the other custom stuff, even with that at 3800 RPM is was still making 600/825, max HP was at 3200, max T/Q was at 3050, shift points are at 3200-3300.

Re:Almost cracked 700 HP
jim, are you running around with the valet switch on (assuming you have one)? how is the smoke for daily driving? (as the stoopid pump seems to turn day into night 8) ).

Re:Almost cracked 700 HP
Tom, I have a valet switch and have it hooked up to a dimmer switch in the floor were a normal one would be at, I run all the time in valet, Piers sets the pumps up so when it's in valet it not bad, with my twins I can run on the floor at 50 psi with very little smoke, go to full fuel and it is ugly! I have it now were it is so driveable you wouldn't believe it, then only thing you have to watch is jumping on the throttle, light throttle and getting on top of the turbo's is the key to harder driving with minimal smoke.

Jim

Re:Almost cracked 700 HP
Jim I think we are going to have to get you a little more air to go with all that fuel . Congrats on the big numbers... glad all the hard work has paid off. Sounds like you have that pump tuned good. I'm sure you will have that rig up to 800hp in no time.

Horace

Re:Almost cracked 700 HP
Don't think I'll try for 800, it's nice being able to drive the truck out of town and get 19 MPG, I will shoot for a better set of Twins and a cam though, Got spoiled in Jet Pilots truck with the PDR 40 on top and a cam, his light throttles a bunch better than mine.

Thanks for the words, Jim
