Exactly what BigBlue said, if it's gonna die, it will die with or without the Comp, so you may as well go on, tap it and enjoy it.

 

I ran my JWA for a week untapped, and all I can say is what a waste of a week. The truck becomes SO FUN to drive after the tap, you won't even care if it does go bad. You can't put a price tag on the enjoyment factor that a good tap gives ya...
