AirDog raptor 150

anyone have pics of one installed? I'd like to see how it's mounted/wired/plumbed. Did you have to run return line to it?

I did an Air Dog 150 on a 01.5...

This is where I put the draw straw...

Pump mounted. Sorry you can't get a lot of details from this pic...

I did run a return line.

What do you need to know? I pretty much just followed the directions in the book, they are pretty good. The only problem I had was with the ECM putting enough power to the pump to push enough to the VP to start the truck... on this specific truck, I had to wire in a switch to power the pump.

I installed one in my 2000. Really easy install. The wiring goes from the battery to a relay triggered off the factory lift pump wiring. Plumbing, they give you a quick connect to tie into the factory pickup off the tank, unless you have the in-tank retrofit. Then it plumbs right in to the side of the filter housing. Everything's provided. I have pics, but don't have them uploaded.

Oh yeah, on a Raptor, a return line is not needed. Just uses the stock return line.

Im thinking about getting raptor 150. I think I have in-tank lift pump. Really don't want to take bed off the truck to change it. What are my options?

From what I recall, you can't pull through the in-tank pump. I think you've got to pull the bed or drop the tank and install a drawstraw.

My 2000 didn't have an in-tank pump so I didn't have to worry about that. I have a drawstraw 2 sitting in my garage if you need one. I bought one thinking I needed it, but never used it.

Actually I think I was wrong. I was working on truck today and spotted lift pump mounted on side of the block. So I guess that makes things a little easier for me?

I don't get what you're saying... why is it easier? I still relocated the pump closer to the tank, and ran the lines to the VP...

Yep, should plug right in to the quick connect on top of the tank. Pain in the neck to reach, but it's doable without lifting the bed or dropping the tank.
