Airdog FP-100???

put in my airdog the other day.wired it to the batteries first, then it started to loss fuel pressure.only losses pressure for a second, then comes back on line.re-wired it to the altenator thinking it was lossing power do to bad connection at the battery.well now im getting the same thing.i did modify a few fittings cause of **** poor design and the other cause the VP fitting was over torqued, helper has been fired after the over torque. i used the fuel pressure banjo from my juice chip with the metal fitting from the old fuel filter, and hose clamped the whole deal together.this might be the problam, but just checking to see if anyone else has hade simalar problams.

is the pump failing or the voltage signal being lost causing the pump to stop?

if there is an air leak you should hear the pump making noise,

How full is your tank. Yeah, I know this seems like a stupid question but theres MASSIVE discussion about 1/4 tank problems...and theres a fix!

im not sure what seem to be the problam, the pump goes anywere from 0-3 psi for a second or two and then comes back full pressure. the tank is 3/4 full and it seems to happen the most doing corners or coming off the throttle hard.

corning and stop go will give me the 0-3psi when I'm less than 1/4 fuel, Maybe you have a draw straw...naw forget that I see you have the AD100, it is possible that there is a problem with the fuel moduel, maybe fill the truck to the top and see if it still does it.
Which fittings did you have to modify?? nothing in my 150 kit required modifing?

Other that call pureflow for tech help, they are really helpful and I give them a thumbs up for service!

LOL

Yeah, I have the first one ever built. About 4 years ago. And it was the original DrawStraw!

The reason there are any 1/4 tank issues is due to the pump manufacturers using the least expensive draw tube available! And on top of that, incorrect installs plague most users.

Actually, dig into your tank module. I have done several stock modules where the pickup screen housing has separated from the bottom of the module, causing all worlds of grief at as high as 3/4 tank indicated.

I generally take these units, modify the return line location, put a proper hose in there with clamps, and plastic weld the screen housing to the module. That seems to solve 100% of the problems.

Good luck
