Airbags
I was just curious if anyone has used airbags in the rear to lift their truck, instead of getting lift springs? I was planning on doing a 4" lift in rear with airbags, then 4" coils in the front. I'd love to hear your thoughts and experience
Cheers,
Ian

I have an Airlift kit in the rear of my 3500 4x4. Planned to use them for towing, but then I did some front suspension and steering mods, and the net result was the front end was 2 inches higher than the rear. So I've been running the Airlift bags at 35 psi empty/50 psi loaded, which evens the truck out. Got 30K miles on them, about 10K of which is over gravel roads and dirt trails. They've done well.
Not sure about a 4 inch lift with just the bags. Mine will do that, but you've got to pump them close to 100 psi, and the truck will slew to the side with every bump in the road.
