Shoot they are about a half an hour from me. My only hang up on them is that I think it is a little over priced and I think I could put my own four link in for a lot less than what they want. Bags are only 100-160 dollars, so even at $300 for bags I can't see haveing more than 3 maybe $400 in metal and hemi joints. that is only $600 then you can wait on the compressor just put valve stem in and fill manually you well only have to add air if you add load, then you can put the compressor on later.
Heath

Re:Air suspensions

No, we were not specifically talking about Kelderman. It just seems to be the best system out there with quality componants, which is why it is probably overpriced. I am still looking to find a system to install on my truck and am slowly leaning towards educating myself about air suspension systems and building my own system.
Anybody know of any good books on designing and building air suspensions, four link suspensions etc?

Re:Air suspensions

Actually the R&D on building a good 4 link for the rear would almost be worth the money. I don't necessarily like Kelderman's 4 link but I do like the bolt on aspect of it.

4 Wheel and Off Road Magazine recently did a piece on building a 4 link and it didn't look like cake work.

Kelderman's looks more like a 2 link to me IMO the way they have it trussed but I haven't studied it up close.

The front looks very simple...

James

Re:Air suspensions

Airbags are child's play once you have messed with them most are just nervous because its new! Depending on what you are planning you probably cannot run much for valves with the 4x4 you can go up from stock but certainly not down because of the angles of the drives.
