Air suspension for Ram 2500

This newbie would like to ask if anyone has any information on replacing the stock suspension with air on a Ram 2500 4X4 with the towing package. I would like to soften the ride some and hope this would do the trick. If you could provide some locations to look I would be very thankfull. I have looked at all 69 pages in this forum and didn't find anything.

i dont know that i would go with just airbags by themselves. you may consider removing a few leaves from the spring pack in addition to airbags, or going with a custom set of leafsprings from someone like national spring to get a better ride. i'm not a big fan of airbags to begin with, i've heard some bad stories about airbagged trucks and the problems you have to deal with if something breaks. go buy a couple bags of cement and throw them in the back to get rid of the bouncy-ness, and it's very cheap too.

Most air suspentions for our trucks are to increase load capacity. But you are in luck there is a company that makes exactly what you are looking for. Just click on the link.

http://keldermanmfg.com/

Re:Air suspension for Ram 2500

Here's a couple of things I'm going to install to get a little smoother ride:

http://www.drivetrain.com/velvetride.html

http://www.airliftcompany.com/

I think the velvetride shackles will help for everyday unloaded driving around. I also have the heavy "camper special" helper leaves, and when pulling a gooseneck with heavy tongue weight, the ride becomes rather harsh on bumpy roads. I'm going to remove the helpers and install the super duty airlift setup. Hopefully that will smooth the ride, and adjustability should be a nice feature. ;D
