Air Intakes...

Ok so im about to order an air intake for my truck and I found an S&B kit for 231 and then I find an AEM kit for like 4 something....why the big difference.....they both have the same setup with the fitler, box, and tube. So am I missing something here or what??

AEM Brute Force runs around the same as the S&B. Fram Boost is just under $200 and, I'm led to believe, uses the same AEM dryflow filter that's in the Brute Force ... I haven't confirmed this, but it sure looks a lot like it!

There are lots of options becoming available for our trucks..... Some are good others not quite the option you may want. We have done a lot of dyno testing on different filter setups and the only one that made HP was the AFE units. In fact the BHAF actually decreased HP by 4-6 on the dyno.

If you want you can use the tube off the stock box with the filter of your choice then fab up your own heat sheild or box. Even a replacement afe pg7 filter is only like $70.
