AIR FLOW
HOW CAN THE AIR FLOW BE IMPROVED ON A 12 VALVE. I KNOW YOU CAN GET A PORTED HEAD , A CAM , EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND TURBO, FILTER AND HOUSING BUT ARE THERE ANY MORE TRICKS SUCH AS BIGGER VALVES OR ANYTHING

Re:AIR FLOW
There are lots of things that you can do. Port/polish the head, aftermarket cams, aFe filter minder, bigger and less restrictive exhaust, exhaust manifolds, and then the big daddy, twin turbos. Look HERE to see twin turbos set up by J.R. Adkins, he is a crazy nut!

When you say "bigger valves", are you refering to delivery valves? If so these will give you more fuel, which will create more heat. More reasons to get more air flow.

Andrew

When I get around to pulling the head (to handle headgasket) I'll most likely goto new intakes and exhaust valves.

Re:AIR FLOW
You can always go to a trusty machine shop that deals with performance like drag racers. They might be able to do a valve seat cut so you can fit bigger valves, and give a nice 3 or 7 angle valve job while they had it. Just a thought.
