Air filter oil qiestion
Is there a good over the counter oil at the local auto store that is OK for my AFE oem filter. I just cleaned it for the first time after 10k. I dont like to buy some kit when all it could be is just repackaged stuff availabe much cheaper at Napa or autozone.

You can get a kit at Geno's Garage (oil and filter cleaning solvent) for not too much. I have cleaned my AFE proguard 7 OEM type filter 3 times. By the looks of the amount of oil & cleaner left, I can probably clean and re-oil 20 more times. I would go with the AFE kit, but, your choice.
