I have the AD150 and I did have one replaced under warrantee, mind you it had probably 2000+ hours on it. (courior truck)
Service was excellent and I have no issues if I ever needed another I'd buy an AD. Fass or AD you cant go wrong,
I think there is a replacement fuel moduel that Vulcan sells (AD might have one as well) if you have a stock intank pump

Any thoughts on just the stock replacement FASS? How is your economy? Do you have better mileage and efficency? Just trying to figure if it is worth the extra coin. Anyone have the ADII? Keep um coming.

The biggest differnce i've seen between the two is the air dog is quieter than the fass. They both work well. I think that the fass is easyer to mount the way its bracket is designed.

We sell and install both. I can tell you that we install more FASS than Airdog. Name recognition? I dunno.
Both have good and bad points for installation. That's why I don' use the FASS mounts and the AirDog can be tough with certain configurations. The FASS is about the same volume with my brackets. I am convinced the FASS is louder as it is mounted on a tuning fork for a mount.
With both, we install JIC adapters and full swivel fittings. I really wished they came this way. It makes removing the pump for any reason a breeze. Of course we throw out the blue air hose and install proper fuel line.
Other than that, they are both great systems!

I have been finding Air-Dog is slightly cheaper if you look in the right places. As for myself I stopped and talked to a few diesel shops and they all voted FASS. So FASS it is.

They all voted FASS because they make more money on the sale.
For the price of the FASS you could get the AD II. Very nice. Do some more homework before spending too much money.

x3, and now with the ADII you gat a pre-modded intank pickup - an item not available until late. many of us had to modify our stock canister to avoid the 1/4 tank problem. Dont know if FASS has addressed this. AD is an easy install, cant hear it run, nice module. That being said, you probably cant go wrong with either one. After having my AD for a few months I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
