Aftermarket/Replacement VP44s
It seems many vendor's shelf stock of Injection pumps have disappeared in the past couple of weeks.
Especially the HR VPs.
It looks like there's a huge number of VP44s all deciding that they don't want to see 2006 at the same time.

Let me throw in my 2 cents. I can't say enough good things about the customer service I got there, he did some backwards summersaults to accomidate my problems, and I have yet to hear or read a single complaint on the new upgraded pump he sells.

Herb the pumps are 1195.00, 1 year warranty we recommend that the transfer pump be replaced, they are usually the culprit the cost is 225.00. Also they make a warning device if fuel pressure drops you are alerted, 49.95 is the cost.
Freight is about 15.00. Let me if know if we can be assistance. If you have some technical questions you can direct them to Bill McLaury my fuel injection manager. Thank You,

That's the first questions that EVERY shop seems to ask......
Has the Lift pump been changed?
How is the fuel pressure?
Seems kinda strange that every injection pump rebuilder is worried about a problem that Dodge says doesn't exist.
I was looking at 16 psi of fuel pressure when the truck died, so I know lack of fuel wasn't the cause.
BTW most seemed to prefer to see a MINIMUM of 10 psi at WOT instead of the 8 that was previously the accepted value.

These guys have the best deal on the market. New case, PSU and worn internal parts (just like everyone else on the stock pump). The price includes shipping, plus shipping to return the core (UPS label included with new unit). No up-front core charge! You get 30 days to return the core.
FWIW, I recently spoke to a local rebuilder who told me the new "Fedex" style PSU is the standard PSU on all rebuilt pumps.

Unfortunately, they're also in very short supply.
They're supposed to be building me a HR VP tomorrow, and putting it out to Fedex overnight hopefully tomorrow afternoon.

I think he's got them beat on price. But there is a refunded core charge.
He's an all-around nice guy to work with and very knowledgable to talk to,
AND a DTR site advertiser too.
