Aftermarket Oil Breather

I was browsing today and came across an aftermarket oil breather here's the link: http://www.purecummins.com/catalog/p...s-breather.php

Has anyone tried this thing, does it really help your engine breathe 300% better, and what's the advantage of that?

I didn't buy their kit but am running the same setup on my truck. I used a Moroso brand puke tank (identical to theirs) with a 90 deg hose nipple. It is mounted outside the frame , drivers side, in front of the tire/axle. Works great.

I was making kits similar. I use a overflow bottle I drill and put in a k&n breather. run the blowby tube to it and call it a day. if the engine is breathing through the same size hose it cant breath any different so I dont know where they get it breathes any better from let alone 300% better.

Yeah blacksilver I came across that thread right after I already started this one. The oil loss doesn't bother me too much, I just want to keep it away from my belt and the rest of the motor. I Like your design, I thought about just extending the hose down by the axle like big rigs have. The problem is that the previous owner left the screw loose to hold down the puke bottle, it rubbed a hole in the bottle it on the pulley....and now there's been oil soakin into my front cover for the past 2 yrs I've owned it, just never gave it much thought till I saw that thing they were sellin.
