Easy to foget how much difference a little more air can make....especally if towing!
BD's Super B is a great turbo for it's size. Faster spooling than the factory HX-35 and a lot more usable air!
I would recommend it to anyone under say 400 hp!

Different wheel design, twin volutes, new metalurgy ..... really a whole newer generation, design-wise.
I have one as a top turbo on my twins. Those who have driven my CTD, and are use to their HX-35, notice the spoolup speed.
I measured it as a 58/65/13.
Really a .80 A/R, I believe, which I think translates to about a 13, in Holset terms. Pat?
But size is not the whole story. IMO this turbo moves air like a 62 compressor wheel from some others!
I've been told the whole new S300 design was developed, for Borg Warner, by BD's engineer.
And BD kept a few secret ideas for their turbos only! So goes the rumor??

The way we do it is to cap off the outlet side and then pressurize the inlet side to about 30psi and it should hold that pressure. If it doesnt then get some soapy water and spray the intercooler looking for bubbles.
