afe VS bhaf who wins?

whats the best for air flow anf keeping the dirt and dust out
and of course making the turbo sing

The AFE Mega Cannon will outflow the BHAF by quite a bit. If you are worried about keeping the dirt out look into the AFE progaurd 7.

whys the bhaf so popular iwas under the impression that they are better than an afe the way every body talks about them

BHAF is good if your truck is close to stock and you live on a dirt road.

AFE filters rule the roost with performance and these trucks.

BHAF's are a lot cheaper too. In all honesty, I didn't see too much EGT reduction when I put mine on.

Using too small of an air filter on an engine for instance with twins WILL cause pre-mature wear on the chargers and you will be looking at turbo rebuilds after a short period of time.

Alot of supplied filters with twin setups offer marginal performance at best for the amount of air that those chargers CAN demand.
