Has anybody gone from an AFE Megacannon unit to a Scotty Air II intake? What were the benefits in terms of reduced EGTs? Are the benefits (if any) worth the money? All input is greatly appreciated. LE

Yes, yes , yes....we beat this subject to death a while ago, and bottom line is the Scotty II had an advantage over the AFE Mega-Cannon. I also believe the Scotty is a little cheaper then the Mega-Cannon. To get the best benefit from the Scotty II, you will need to cut a 4-1/2" hole in your cowl....do a search on the subject, and decide for your self.

I switched to the scotty after the cannon and would never go back flat out it does as advertised and more in my case!
