AFE filter or stock?

I recently had my injector and lift pump replaced. When I took the truck to the dealer I took off the Dioblo power puck and the AFE filter. I used to get around one mpg better with the puck. I would like to hook it back up but I am not sure if it will be OK with the stock filter. Does anyone know if it will be alright to do so? Thanks for the help.

I'm sure you'll be fine. But why not put the AFE back on?

I really did not notice any performance or mpg gain with the AFE filter installed. It is a little less noisy withh out it though.

Air intakes do more to keep EGTs in check than produce power. If you are severly overfueled, which just a Power Puck is not, you won't see anypower gains from an intake, and will never see major gains from one.
