Aeroturbine Muffler

Anybody ever heard of an "Aeroturbine" muffler??
Are they any good? They claim to reduce EGT by 200 F

If you haven't already, talk to Dave Meheen at Diesel Power Products. He sells these, so he is going to tell they work, but he can because he has them on his truck and has friends who have also seen the results on thier truck. meheen@owt.com is his e-mail or 866-379-8685. He is in Washington State.

tell him to perform an experiement by substituting an equivalent length and diameter of straight pipe, under controlled conditions simulating real driving conditions with both stock and performance exhaust systems. That aeroturbine tecnobabble is enough to drive me nuts, but if they would anti up to a real experiement and produce verifiable results I'd listen.

I sent the manufacturer an email sometime ago from my dieseltruckresource.com address, and asked about getting some information on this thing. I never heard a peep. That would speak pretty loud to me as most vendors are pretty quick to want to show off their product.
