The 4k thing is guaranteed to happen. There is a catch to it but, I have in my hands and Adrenaline that goes to 4k on any and every truck out there.

I am really hoping to have this out before the TS event but, there is not way in heck I am going to promise a concrete date.

The bad news is this is not a simple software update. Not sure how or what we are going to do. The guys that are really pulling and really need will get it for sure. Puts me in a tight spot, so we will see what happens.

Seems like I am in a tight spot on a regular basis around here anyways!

 

By the way, some of the new tunes are up and I think everyone is going to be really happy.

The 3000 tune is a tune between the 2000 and the Comp because some guys wanted more power but not as much as the Comp. Needless to say the Comp fuels quicker. I've tried both tunes and you can tell the difference.

Nope, I got the Redline Unlimited. I'll be trying for 4500....whichever box gets me there.

 

Jlent, i have had the redline unlimited on my truck before, and on the street is was simply the most badest programmer or box that i have ever seen! But hooked to a sled it was a completley diferent story, the truck was popping and cackling and would fuel for a minute then not fuel. It was weird, and we could never figure it out. But lately i have been thinking about giving it another try, maybe it was just the box i had. But let me know when your first hook is. Kind of curious as to how your truck runs with the unlimited box.

By the way, you going to make it down to TS?

I can't make TS, too far for me. I'm not sure when the first pull is out here, usually May or June. I haven't tried the redline yet since I sent it to Chip. I've had it to 4200 stacked with Adrenaline, never had any problems with it popping or anything. I've free revved it & launched it before over 4k with no problems. I have great faith in Quad getting us hooked up before my season starts. He has already proven that he can make more power than the Redline above 3500 on my truck. I'm just waiting this out & keeping the redline as a backup plan.

 

At a minimum that will be required.

I don't plan on it but, you never know. It depends on what all we get done between now and then.


I dont know for sure yet (because I don't have the truck for it) but, I think we can probably go close to 5,000 rpms. I am not sure how much power can be made since you only have one solenoid feeding all 6 lines so at some point you really have to start cutting fuel back to keep it in time but, I think I can probably go as high as you have cajones for.

I hate to even say this but, one of your guys really need to open a Redline box up and check it out. You will be shocked it ever worked to start with, especially for what they cost.

I like Chip a lot and have a lot of respect for him but, from an electical engineering side of things........holy cow.
