I think that is the problem, but thats why I posted my results hoping you guys will find me to be correct. Hope I'm not making Quad mad trying different things here, but its worked on 3 different trucks that I own & you've noticed a difference? Makes sense.

My friend called me tonight. His truck started sputtering very lightly today, been running good since we did the download, but out of the blue....sputter came back. He unhooked/reconnected his batteries & sputter is gone again, wierd.

I downloaded the 1000 old tune 4 times today. I will drive it tomorrow some more and see how it works. I may try some maintenance on the PCM ground and see if that helps.

Luke,
download it about 5 times in a row.
So far I have no surges from doing that (I have only done some city driving since then) and have no surge on lel 0, 1 and 2. Before I had surging on 1 and 2.

I just installed my adrenaline. I had downloaded the 1015 tunes before installation. So far, (after all, it has been one whole day), it's running very smoothly.
The pulse is a bit of a pain but the adrenaline seems to be working very well.

So where is Quad? What are his thoughts on this?
Guess he's busy with the 6 OHnO guys and their AD's.

We have tested, re-tested, reflashed etc.
It does not make any sense to us. When you reflash a module the entire flash gets erased. We verified that something was not getting left in the flash.
I do see how it is possible to have a corrupt file that you downloaded on your desktop. The fix to that would just be to re-download whatever file that was off of the website.
Re-loading, and all the reflashing should not and does not matter.
I am just waiting to see how this pans out. I see some guys that jumped off board and are now jumping off board (which is what I expected).
