Not recently. The last time I had custom tuning on the truck was right before you had discovered/good luck with loading up an old tune. Now I'm just running an ADR1k tune that was off of the site.

Maybe I'll try loading that up tonight and see how it runs?

Give it a try, I love the custom tuning. Only reason I don't run it is because Its only available using 1000 file as baseline. It won't fuel past redline & I'm not about to be out somewhere & get burnt by a high revving powerjoke.

is the custom tuning going to be available to everyone, if so how do we go about getting it. i would really love to have it, i like the idea of being able to set it the way you want.

Well the surges are real bad now. I now have to keep it on 0(comp)
I will be downloading an older tune if i can get one.

I either keep it on 2 or 10, but in 10 i am all in the throttle the whole time so it doesn't matter . . . . course being all in the throttle caused me to shear my 5th gear and the countershaft gear (or whatever you call it) gears apart last Wednesday


but in all honesty the bucking seems to be at a certain rpm so i just don't stay at the rpm where it bucks when i drive at 10

Well that rpm for me is cruising rpm.

Ditto. Drove about 4 hrs today, and at one point slowly accelerating between 30-45 the truck started bucking HARD. Seems like everytime I try it, it just surges badddddd.

yeah the surging does get old if you drive along ways, i love the box and the power but sometimes it is hard to drive around. has anyone heard if they are about to complete the new downloads to help fix the problem? i know quad posted last week and said that they were getting close.

Quad is building a file that should eliminate the surging that most of you guys are experiencing. He's been testing this on our test truck and trying to build a file that should work. I would have to say that the custom tuning files should be ready in a month or so. There should be some sort of instructions to help with the custom tuning that will walk you through it.

Ok so im confuse. I was just told by quad that custom tuning is only available for his beta testers and they are serial # locked. So then how was i able to get into it.
