I've been running the most recent 1000 program. I just loaded the comp1 program I downloaded on 9/15. I'm going to test drive it and see what I've got....and if I can still drive around it. Sounds like RowJ has been having pretty good success with the Comp.

my truck is running pretty decent now , at 2000 rpm there is a sudden surge-it seems like the adrenaline is hust kicking in or someting, but as far as the surging it is tons better than before. there is still just a little surge but i am hoping that when i get my pulse (that is on backorder) i can tune it how i want and then everything will be better

like the truck pauses?
but up to that point it kicks your *** back in the seat
would have tried it all out but wife (who just had shoulder surgery) was with me and didn`t enjoy the bucking surging

Had a little cabin fever from being sick all week and baby sitting this weekend by myself with my son. My Mom came over and gave me a little break so I went out to test the Comp1 program. I have to say, that program runs great to me. No major issues. A little surge on 5 but very minor and really to be expected in my estimation for an aggressive program. No issues on 3 driving around. I got on it a little ramping on the interstate and could not keep my brand new 35" Toyo Open Country M/T's planted. I figured they would grip pretty well but at 70 they would completely lose traction. This program has got promise! I was able to tach it to 35-3600 in 4th but didn't have the kahones in 5th or 6th to try it. Not sure if it would tach more but that's really all I want anyway....I don't sled pull.
I think I need to put this one on the dyno.

i drove it a little more last night and on 9 and 10 there is still a little surging, hopefully with the pulse it will be more manageable. i tried downloading the 1000 code afew times from the website and drove it each time, the faster that the tune downloades the less the truck surges. just my observation

okay put in the 1000 test tune today tweaked it before starting it and it aint bad
no surge or bucking up to level 6 for mine and if ya get on it ya can put out some smoke even with stock injectors
gonna put 2000 test back in and try it again with same settings
report back in a few hours
