Have you replaced Map and IAT sensors? That was a big help for me. I've talked to tons of guys who spent $4-600 on an APPS and it didn't fix anything. Just trying to help you save a few bucks. If not sensors, I'd guess injection pump or an injector issue.
There is also another sensor that is heat related. I see you're in Fla, might be worth checking. I can't remember which one though. I'll see if I can find out.

I downloaded it & test drove it. Then repeated it till I had a good download. Try downloading different file like comp tune, then try 1000 tune again.

Well, I've got an update but not sure how it's gonna be relevant.
This morning I loaded up the ADR1k (that J Lent sent dated 4/15/08) tune, and have reinstalled it a few different times. "Surging" is gone as long as the truck isn't flashing "defueling". Basically whats that means is that this is one of the old tunes that would flash defueling.
E.g. Lightly accelerating or holding a steady speed this tune was SMOOTH. For the first 20-30 miles it didn't even so much as hiccup. Once the truck started flashing defueling (with no parameters even set), the truck would surge.
The ONLY time it surged, was when it was defueling. It did it to me with RPM's around 1800 lightly accelerating with traffic, holding steady at 40-50 mph, and holding steady from 60-75 mph.
So, the chip is turned off and I may be pulling it out tomorrow but at the very least maybe this can explain some of the surging we're experiencing? Could the tunes because defueling and that's why we get the surging and bucking?
HTH,
Shawn

Chapter President
Well i loaded the J Lent tune today and it finally runs without surge.
I think it has to do with the fueling and TPS signal. It used to surge at 16-20% TPS.
