Adrenaline on a stock truck?

Okay, I was going to get a XZT+ but found a good deal on a used Adrenaline instead. The only other mods I have are a BHAF and a airdog 150. My question is how high can I take the Adrenaline before I start messing things up? I will be upgrading other things later as money comes but for now should I just stay on the first couple levels or will I be okay to bump it up if I'm not dumb about it?

Make sure you have a fuel pressure gauge!!!

You can run the Adrenaline on any level, you'll just run out of air in the higher levels and have to watch boost/EGT's, you can also buy the Pulse and set your own defueling parameters. I put down over 400 HP and nearly 1000 ft/lbs of TQ in a nearly stock truck...

I have an Airdog 150 so I should be okay on fuel pressure but I'll definitely be hooking up all the gauges (fuel pressure, boost, EGT, oil temp) that come with the Adrenaline. I was mostly worried about my clutch, anyone know how much power a stock one can hold?

You're gonna be pushing it with the stock clutch. Some seem to hold up pretty well, while others don't like boxes at all.

Is the Pulse for sale to the public yet?

$560 for what? A new clutch, or a new Adrenaline? I already got the adrenaline, or at least paid for it and it's on the way. Thanks though.

Look at my sig. My truck is basically stock. Runs good for what I have. The only thing I worry about is the headgasket on the higher levels of the adrenaline. 45+ psi.

That is WAY below MAP and I would run from him.

We have a guy right now that bought something super cheap, they sent him the wrong one and he won't swap it out. He is on our un-authorized list and we are not going to swap it out.

Just buy from a reputable dealer and go from there.

I got mine used and I know I don't get the warranty or anything, I'm not sweating it. Even if I only get the first two levels and the gauges it'll be worth it for me.

Quad, I'd love to stop by and check out your shop since I only live about 15 minutes away and might get a day off in the next week or so. I'm new to this whole cummins thing and think it would be cool to see what the knowledgeable folks are doing.

I'm mod'd a little over stock with RV 275 injectors and aFe air intake, but the Adrenaline works really great for what I require which is uphill, real-world pulling power. I'm sure I'm not making much over 400 hp but am running my truck using the preloaded tunes and am at ease pulling a 7% grade at 16,500 GW at 65 MPH with no egt or clutch issues. This box rocks! The Quad guys, Jeremy McCann is an exceptional contact(sorry Jeremy), are great to work with. None of you know me 'cause this is only my second post, but I highly recommend this unit. I've used vanAaken and Edge EZ boxes in the past, but this unit gives me much more flexibility in choosing more or less power. I realize it's still got some "issues" that are being worked on down at Quad's place but I can't imagine it will be long before all the bugs are flushed out and stomped.

quad, he is one of your authorized dealers! i called and got the dealer and number from your sales dept. he sold it to me for a little over his cost. it a shame that dealer cost is just over 400 and the mfg. want to make a dealer sell for a set amount of almost 700.

It is pretty simple, he can either abide by the rules set in place or sell something else.
