It is caused by big injectors & aggressive fueling boxes combined which pulls fuel faster than the pump can handle, this causes the shuddering.

so could the same shuddering come from a weak injection pump not being able to push the fuel that the box wants it to push?

I would get a fuel pressure gauge quick if you don't have one. Sounds like vp44 or lift pump problems.

i have the Optix 0-30 FP gauge now. it's wired up, but i don't have the fuel isolator yet! once i get that going i'll post an update... sorry for taking over the thread for a short time! Thanks J Lent!
