Adrenaline fueling

Adrenaline fueling
Ok guys, So far I haven`t been able to figure this one out. Maybe someone else has had a similar issue.
I first noticed this when I had a surge problem. I downloaded the 10/21/08 which cured my surging. I then brought it to the dealership and had them turn my high idle on. Ok, I have a smoke switch on my wiring harness. When i turn it on I would get a surge that it was delivering more fuel. It was doing what it was suppose to do. Also I noticed while cruising with my adrenaline on pl03 or higher my over head would read like 25-30mpg @ 70. I know this is false also. Which is normal for the adernalin on pl03 or higher as its using the wire tap on the pump.
Now, I sent my box and had the firmware and software update from Quad. The problem still is there, so I retapped my vp44 wire with a posi-tap instead of that junk one it comes with. I`ve checked all my connections, used a voltmeter to check the pump wire harness from the adrenaline.
I am lost. I`m not making the power I should. I have a htt 62/12 and with the adenaline on pl10 this thing should go!! I`ve tried stacking it with a smarty and with the adr2018 tune and the smarty set at 8, this thing should smoke like a freight train until it builds boost. Only codes I ever see are p0500, which is tire spin, and the norm. p1693, and once in awhile i`ll get a p0236, but this is from the smoke switch.
I hate to replace the map sensor, but wouldn`t it throw a code if it was bad?? I really don`t wanna throw $70 down the toilet if its good. I know my truck, and it doesn`t have the snort it should with the stack and turbo. My vp44 checks out, and my fp is always 14psi +. Its gotta have something to do with the pump wire, but what?
I should add, I average on blended fuel, 15.5mpg and i`ve seenas high 19.5 mpg. with the adrenaline on pl02
Any suggetions!
Thanks,
-Kyle

try a comp tune, I was a little dissapointed with stock injectors on the 2k tune. with injectors the 2k tune is amazing by the way. you should not run a smoke switch on the adrenaline. if you want smoke load the dyno tune. I notice on my truck, anything that adds timing surges. if i run on odd numbers its much better. sometimes it actually feels better too. what kind of boost numbers are you seeing, and egt's?

It has had the switch since i got it. The 2000 tune used to be great. I`m running 30psi on the 62/12 and my egts while cruising @ 65 are 750. I tried the comp tune, and I couldn`t tell the difference from the 2 different tunes. I turned the adrenaline off, and just loaded the smart on level 7. The truck has more power now lowend than when I had the adrenaline by itself and stacked with the smarty....
I`m getting real tired of this JUNK!!! I`m ready to switch to a different box that doesn`t need updating and tweeking every 6 months.

Here`s another thing. I made a run to Fargo, ND yesterday. No smarty, just adrenaline on PL02. It was a 70 mile trip. 65mph I got 14.7. I turned it off, and downloaded the smarty sw7 on the way home. I got 17.2mpg @ 65mph. This is all had calculated filling up before I left in Fargo, and when I got home.

might hav eto ohm out the harness. from a 2k to a comp tune on my truck with stock injectors it was like night and day, HUGE difference. somethings not right. I know quad says not to usea smoke switch, supposedly it doesnt like it

oops yeah I saw that. there was some talk before about the origional tunes being very agressive and the later tunes coming in smoother making it feel like there was less power. also if the map sensor has failed within spec it would not set a code. say it failed at 1.2 volts, its within spec but will only allow a small amount of fueling. I would test voltage at the ecm to see if its reading full voltage under boost
